Terms of Use
By using ClayQR Studio, you agree to use the generator responsibly and to check your QR codes before sharing them. Please read these terms carefully.
1. About the service
ClayQR Studio is a browser-based utility intended to help users create, customize, preview, and download QR codes. It is provided by [INSERT LEGAL OPERATOR NAME]. Contact: [INSERT CONTACT EMAIL].
2. Eligibility and acceptable use
You agree to use the service lawfully and in a way that does not interfere with other users or the service. You must not use the generator to facilitate fraud, phishing, malware distribution, harassment, unlawful surveillance, infringement, or other harmful or illegal conduct. Do not attempt to disrupt the website, bypass reasonable technical limits, or misuse third-party infrastructure.
3. Your content and responsibility
You are responsible for the text, URLs, contact information, and other content you encode. You must have the rights and permissions needed to use that content. Do not encode another person's personal information without an appropriate reason and permission where required. You are responsible for how and where you distribute the generated QR code.
4. QR safety and scanning
A QR code can conceal a destination or text until it is scanned. Before opening a link, check the destination shown by your scanner and do not enter credentials or payment details on unfamiliar pages. We cannot verify the safety, accuracy, availability, or legitimacy of destinations that users encode. Test codes on relevant devices before publishing, printing, or using them in important settings.
5. Output and technical limits
QR capacity depends on the amount and type of data and the selected error-correction level. Very long content may fail to generate. The experimental image-data mode encodes a tiny image as text and does not host the image; scanning may display encoded data instead of rendering an image. We do not guarantee that every generated code will scan on every device, camera, screen, printer, or lighting condition. Color contrast, sizing, quiet zones, physical damage, and scanner software can affect results.
6. Intellectual property
The website's name, visual design, and original interface elements may be protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You retain responsibility for the content you submit and may use generated QR output subject to rights in that content and applicable law. Third-party libraries and resources remain subject to their respective licences and terms.
7. Availability and changes
The service is offered on an “as available” basis. Features may be changed, interrupted, or withdrawn, and external dependencies may fail or change without notice. We may update these terms and the service. Continued use after an updated effective date may indicate acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law.
8. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without a guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, fit for a particular purpose, or compatible with every device. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator will not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service, including loss caused by a user's encoded destination or distribution of a QR code. This clause does not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded, including any mandatory consumer rights or liability for which limitation is prohibited by law. Any limitation must be interpreted narrowly to the extent required by applicable law.
10. Privacy
Use of the service is also subject to the Privacy Policy, which describes browser processing and possible technical data handled by hosting or external resources. Review it before entering information.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are intended to be interpreted under the laws of [INSERT GOVERNING LAW / JURISDICTION AFTER LEGAL REVIEW], subject to applicable mandatory laws and consumer protections. Courts or dispute forums with jurisdiction under applicable law may hear disputes. Do not publish a jurisdiction clause without confirming it fits the operator and service.
